Perfect Murder was delighted to provide the murder mystery entertainment for latest instalment of Weston-super-Mare’s No.1 tourist attraction, The Grand Pier’s summer murder mystery evening.  Murder on the Pier has been running for several years, and Perfect Murder proudly presents a fresh new murder mystery story at each of these well-attended events.

100 guests booked to enjoy a delicious three-course dinner accompanied by live entertainment from Perfect Murder on the The Grand Pier; a venue boasting the best view of Weston-super-Mare.  With a spacious function room and stunning outdoor balcony overlooking the bay, the Grand Pier is a great venue for events of all sizes, and our murder mysteries are no exception.  Always well attended and enjoyed by guests of all ages, Murder on the Pier has become a fixture in the calendar.  Three times a year, our team of actors present a brand new murder mystery and set guests the challenge of solving the crime!

Hosted by Perfect Murder’s very own super-sleuth Miss Mapletree, guests were swept into a world of 1950s fun and glamour with the all-new mystery entitled ‘Something Borrowed, Someone Blue’. Set a society wedding, the story revolved around the marriage of Lord and Lady Pokeingham’s only daughter, Celia. Perfect Murder’s team of actors treated guests to a glimpse behind the veil as the story played out over dinner.

Six professional actors in full theatrical costume create a live-action murder mystery, during which the plot unfolds in real-time.  Guests are joined by the actors for 2.5hrs of murder mystery fun and become part of the story in this immersive dinner theatre-style event.  Period background music, full colour guest literature and authentic props and clues all help set the scene whilst the story plays out in real-time throughout th evening.

Everyone has the chance of question the suspects, but be quick, you never know when the killer may strike again
